Western civilization, unfortunately, does not link knowledge and morality but rather, it connects knowledge and power and makes them equivalent.

To best look at the bigger picture, we have to see those on both sides. Here are some of today’s largest voices that range from eco-terrorists to quiet, peaceful demonstrators :
Deep Green Resistance: DGR calls for a serious resistance movement that can bring down the industrial economy. Deep Green Resistance evaluates strategic options for resistance, from nonviolence to guerrilla warfare, and the conditions required to be successful. This group’s strategic communication includes analyses of organizational structures, recruitment, security, and target selection. Deep Green Resistance also discusses a culture of resistance and the crucial support role that it can play.”
Earth First!: “Earth First! was named in 1979 in response to a lethargic, compromising, and increasingly corporate environmental community. Earth First! believes in using all the tools in the tool box, ranging from grassroots organizing and involvement in the legal process to civil disobedience and monkeywrenching. Earth First! is different from other environmental groups. Earth First! is not an organization, but a movement in biocentrism, that life of the Earth comes first, and a practice of putting our beliefs into action.
Greenpeace: Since 1971, Greenpeace has been one of the leading independent campaigning organizations that uses peaceful protest and creative communication to expose global environmental problems and to promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future. It does not take money from corporations or government, and uses its own fleet of ships to “defend the oceans” by documenting environmental destruction.
