Content Analysis

“Content analysis is a summarizing, quantitative analysis of messages . . .”  Krippendorff, K., & Bock, M. (2008). The Content Analysis Reader.  Thousand Oaks, CA:  Sage.

While “culture” will be discussed throughout the quarter, our content analyses focus how tribes and casinos are creating a “virtual marae, where language, customs, and relationships maintenance are being practiced” in a virtual space.  This method of research is one way to quickly become familiar with a certain object of study.
